I know I mentioned previously that last night, after Maya went to bed, the lights flickered, we heard a pop, and the heater sighed to a slow stop. Did I mention that it is cold in Cairo?? I know we are acclimatised, but still, we do actually need heat in the winter.
We didn't want to call the electrician for various reasons. So Mike hiked down to 26th of July street during Maya's nap, found an electrical supply shop, and bought a new switch. Then he came home and replaced the fuse in the switch, and now we have heat again. Thank God!!
